Refund Policy

At StackMail, we want you to be completely satisfied with our Services. This Refund Policy outlines when and how refunds are provided for our subscription plans and services.

1. Subscription Refunds

Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, if you cancel within the first 7 days of your initial subscription and have not used the Services extensively, you may request a full refund.

Quarterly Subscriptions

Quarterly subscriptions may be eligible for a prorated refund within the first 14 days of the billing period, minus any usage charges incurred. After 14 days, no refunds will be issued.

Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions may be eligible for a prorated refund within the first 30 days of the billing period, minus any usage charges incurred. After 30 days, no refunds will be issued for the remaining subscription period.

2. Domain Purchases

Domain registrations are non-refundable once completed. This is due to the nature of domain registration with registrars, which involves immediate charges that cannot be reversed.

If you experience issues with a domain purchase (e.g., the domain was not registered correctly), please contact our support team within 48 hours for assistance.

3. Mailbox Services

Mailbox provisioning involves third-party services (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) that incur immediate costs. Therefore:

  • Mailbox fees are non-refundable once the mailbox has been provisioned
  • If a mailbox fails to provision due to our error, you will receive a full refund for that mailbox
  • Unused mailbox credits in prepaid plans may be refundable upon account closure (see Section 5)

4. Wallet Credits

Funds added to your StackMail wallet are non-refundable except in the following cases:

  • Account closure with unused credits (subject to a 10% processing fee)
  • Duplicate or erroneous charges
  • Unauthorized transactions (subject to investigation)

5. Cancellation and Account Closure

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
  • No partial refunds will be issued for unused time in the current billing period
  • Your data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation, then permanently deleted
  • Domain and mailbox services will continue until their respective expiration dates

6. Exceptions

Refunds may be denied if:

  • You have violated our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, or Anti-Spam Policy
  • Your account has been terminated for abuse or policy violations
  • You have received a refund previously for the same subscription
  • The refund request is made after the applicable refund window

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact our support team at billing@stackmail.io with:

  • Your account email address
  • Order or transaction ID (if applicable)
  • Reason for the refund request
  • Date of purchase

Refund requests are typically processed within 5-10 business days. Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 5-10 additional business days, depending on your financial institution.

8. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is unauthorized or incorrect, please contact us first before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of your account
  • Loss of all services and data
  • Additional fees to cover chargeback processing costs

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our Services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
