• Conduct sales prospecting and lead generation
• Send newsletters and marketing communications to opted-in recipients
• Communicate with existing customers and business partners
• Send transactional emails related to your business services

2. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

Email and Spam Violations

• Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam) to purchased or scraped email lists
• Sending emails with false or misleading header information
• Using deceptive subject lines
• Failing to honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days
• Harvesting email addresses from websites without consent
• Sending emails to addresses that have hard bounced

Illegal Activities

• Phishing, fraud, or identity theft
• Distribution of malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Pyramid schemes or multi-level marketing scams
• Promoting illegal products or services
• Violating intellectual property rights
• Money laundering or financial crimes

Harmful Content

• Hate speech, harassment, or threats
• Adult content or pornography
• Content promoting violence or terrorism
• Discrimination based on protected characteristics
• Content that exploits minors

System Abuse

• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts
• Interfering with the operation of our Services
• Circumventing rate limits or security measures
• Using automated tools to abuse the Services
• Reverse engineering or decompiling our software

3. Email Best Practices

To maintain good deliverability and comply with anti-spam laws, you should:

• Only email recipients who have a legitimate business reason to hear from you
• Include accurate sender information and a valid physical address
• Provide a clear and easy way to unsubscribe
• Honor unsubscribe requests promptly
• Maintain clean email lists by removing bounces and unsubscribes
• Use double opt-in where appropriate
• Properly warm up new mailboxes before sending at volume

4. Volume Limits

To protect our infrastructure and maintain deliverability:

• Follow the sending limits specified in your plan
• Gradually increase sending volume for new mailboxes
• Maintain reasonable bounce rates (below 5%)
• Keep spam complaint rates below 0.1%
• Do not send more than the daily limits per mailbox

5. Monitoring and Enforcement

We reserve the right to:

• Monitor usage of our Services for compliance with this AUP
• Investigate reported violations
• Suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy
• Remove or disable access to content that violates this policy
• Report violations to law enforcement where appropriate

6. Reporting Violations

If you believe someone is violating this AUP, please report it to us at abuse@stackmail.io with:

• Description of the violation
• Evidence (email headers, screenshots)
• Your contact information

7. Consequences of Violations

Violations of this AUP may result in:

• Warning and request to remedy the violation
• Temporary suspension of sending capabilities
• Permanent suspension or termination of account
• Forfeiture of prepaid fees
• Legal action where appropriate

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through our Services. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
